The Urology Service of  San Rafael Hospital has the vocation of Integral Healthcare Assistance and is therefore involved in the development of scientific advances in the field of Urology.

We are specifically and most importantly interested in the clinical research of new drugs, which is why we have, for some years now, been developing extensive activity in this field with the help of Dra Ana González as Data Manager of the clinical trials in which we participate.

Currently, we are participating in a Phase II trial for Hyperactive Bladder with the aim of achieving the approval for this indication.   Another trial in Phase III, also for hyperactive bladder, for a drug that will soon be commercialised and which has an innovative way of acting.  And another Trial already in post-commercialisation phase for erectile dysfunction in which all the main Spanish expert centres in Andrology are participating.
