It is a technique for the treatment of localised prostate cancer that integrates high technology and permits the patients get the benefits of a non-invasive treatment via focussed high intensity ultrasound.
The ultrasound beam is focussed on a precise point and destroys the cancerous tissue when reaching temperatures of up to 100ªC within one second. In this way the surrounding tissue is not harmed, thereby avoiding incisions, transfusions, long hospital stays and their complications.

It is indicated for patients diagnosed with localised prostate cancer with a prostate inferior in size to 40cc or with an anteroposterior plane of under 4cm.
This technique can be applied in anticoagulated patients, patients with cardiopathies, lung diseases or other associated pathologies.
